A company can improve data accuracy through continuous monitoring of their records, elimination of duplicates, fixing of any errors found, and the creation of guidelines on how to handle the data. It becomes important to have a well-structured process that allows the team to manage their data in a consistent way. It also becomes important to designate individuals responsible for data quality management and perform data audits on a regular basis so that issues can be identified continuously. There should also be automated tests of the data to detect problems in data format.
